Teaching

Currently, I am leading the Clinical Epidemiology module in the cerebrovascular medicine of the center for stroke research Berlin as well as developing the new module Critical Thinking in Translational Medicine for the Molecular Medicine and Medical Neurosciences master programs at the Charité. I am also involved in the Health Data Sciences graduate program.

I tought several courses on clinical epidemiology and science in general, including teaching ‘academic and scientific training’ to the medical students in leiden, starting the LUMC Epidemiology Masterclass Clinical Research and Epidemiology in Noordwijk as well as designing, organizing, and teaching the mandatory course ‘On Being a Scientist’ for all new PhD students in Leiden.
